Teen Pregnancy Prevention
Teen Pregnancy Prevention targets teens age 12-18 through a countywide collaborative program led by the Marin County Health Department.
This program educates at-risk teens, while providing opportunities for recreation, developing responsible decision-making skills, career exploration and health education.
Parenting classes for parents of teens are also offered as part of the Parent Project.
Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program
For teens attending the Novato Unified School District’s NOVA Education Center, we offer a Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program for ages 13-18.
This program supports teens to stay in school, prevent secondary unintended pregnancies, cultivate positive parenting skills, and set goals for their future.
They key program components include weekly life skills course, weekly support group, individualized academic counseling and enrichment and community service activities.
