School-Based Counseling
Youth and Family Counseling for Parents and Adults, Children
Our counseling interns are based on most Novato Unified School District elementary, middle and high school campuses to provide school-based mental health services.
Students are coached in developing healthy coping mechanisms, improving relationships with peers and adults, and in choosing positive alternatives to substance use and abuse.
Includes one-on-one and group counseling, crisis response, and involves consultation with teachers, administrators and parents.
Runs September through June, by appointment through each school site.
