Novato School Readiness
A free health and community resources program for children 0-5 and their families. We provide:
1. Health and community resources including referrals to free and low-cost health insurance programs
2. Referrals for children with special needs
3. Health workshops:
- Eating a Rainbow
- Germ Busters
- Dental Care
- Car Seat Training and more
4. Preparing your child for Kindergarten – KinderAcademy and Playgroup
- KinderAcademy is a 5-week program for children with little or no Kindergarten experience to attend pre-Kindergarten classes to introduce them to school.
- Playgroup is for 0 - 5 year olds and their parent/ guardians and meets every Wednesday at Open Door Church (1915 Novato Blvd., Novato) from 10 - 11:30am.
