Family Engagement
In the ECE Program for infants - 5 year olds
We view parents as a child's first teacher and encourage active parental and family involvement in supporting children's growth and development from day one. In partnership with parents/guardians, our teachers take an individualized approach to strengthening the four main areas of a child's development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language. We discuss these issues upon enrollment and in annual Parent-Teacher conferences.
We also invite parents to get more involved by:
- Attending workshops on topics such as Potty Training, Positive Parenting, Kindergarten Transition, Supporting Literacy at Home, and more
- Attending Field Trips
- Volunteering in the Classroom
- Fundraising For Your Child’s Classroom
- Leadership Opportunities
- Participating in our Novato School Readiness Program
To find out how you can get involved, contact our ECE Manager at (415) 892-1643, ext 235.
