For 36 years, the Novato Youth Center has offered programs to youth and their families in the community. Our mission is to inspire and prepare youth to succeed. We accomplish this by supporting their development in: academics and learning; health and well being; personal enrichment through arts and athletics; and social interaction and community engagement. A one-of-a-kind 501c3 non-profit agency, we serve 4,200 youth and families.
We offer a range of programs that support babies taking their first steps through teens preparing for college. Our five program areas include:
- Child Development (Early Childhood Education, Elementary/1-Up-4 College Middle School)
- Sports Leagues
- Youth and Family Counseling Program
- Adolescent Health and Wellness
- Community-based Prevention Programs
Our programs are offered in our 23,000 sq. ft. main facility at 680 Wilson Avenue, on elementary, middle and high school campuses throughout Novato, in the community, and at the Novato Wellness Center at 1767 Grant Avenue.
