Novato 1-Up-4 College Teachers

 

Program Coordinator of Academics, Christine Bendik
Christine has a Masters degree in Educational Technology and a Multiple Subject Teaching credential from the University of San Francisco. She has worked as a classroom teacher, tutor, and was part of

a team that launched a college-focused after school program in Marin City. She expressed “I am extremely excited to be part of this program at the Novato Youth Center and welcome the

opportunity to sit down and tell you about how 1-Up-4 College can benefit your middle schooler”.

Teacher, Language Arts: Diane Peterson
Diane has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and her teaching credential from Sonoma State University. She has been teaching in both Sonoma and Marin Counties at the elementary and middle school levels for the past seven years. She quotes, “As a teacher I am able everyday to feel that I make a difference in the lives of children. I look forward to making learning fun for your child”.

Teacher, Math: Amy Quinn
Amy has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Cal Poly Pomona and her multiple subject credential and single subject credential in Social Science. She has been working in the field of education for 4 years. She quotes, "I enjoy sharing new experiences with my students, teaching

them but, also learning from them as well."

 

Plus two dedicated teachers with credentials through the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing.
